Body Enhancement

I have chosen to call this section Body Enhancement instead of the normal Body Modification title. Yes, if you are into tattooing and piercing, you are doing modification. But, isn't it better to think of how you are enhancing yourself rather than modifying something which is already wonderful? I think so! And, I have also included herein some wonderful imagry of body painting more elaborate than some permanent tattoos.

Piercing

I have one piercing, a nipple ring, which I absolutely love. It was a Christmas Gift to myself and I am so pleased with it. I love 'see-able' piercings such as eyebrows and lips, but they're not for me, personally. I like being a closet piercer - sorta my own little secret shared with just a few close friends. Anyway, here are two wonderful sites for piercing enthusiasts.

This is a wonderful piercing studio located in The French Quarter of New Orleans. They provide piercings, jewelry, products, information, and great customer service. I have to tell you, I wasn't even their customer and, yet, when I e-mailed them a question, they responded with speed and knowledge and kindness. I really appreciated that. This site has so much for the piercing enthusiast: from healing times to proper after care to jewelry to photos - you name it - they have it!

Tattoo & Body Painting

As far as tattoos, I do not have one but I have seen many, many beautiful ones. I think, done with proper coloring and design, tattoos can be absolutely beautiful. And, they can make a personal expression on your likes. For example, a friend of mine who is a Witch, has the Goddess and moon tattoed on her. It's a wonderful, personal, beautiful work of art for her to keep to herself and also share when she wishes. I have a male relative who has a virtual forest tattooed over his biceps and flowing onto his back - it's quite detailed and would take you a long time to find all the hidden treasures in that artwork. For the art of Body Painting, one can find everything from small designs to entire body work. The painted body can be mirculously beautiful. Does anyone remember Demi Moore with her painted on suit on a magazine cover a few years back? Well, that is one example but others would be elaborate mixtures of color and design to create something erotically gorgeous. So, for the tattoo connoisseur, or just the curious, I offer the following sites for exploration.
