And so we end...with my Erotic Nature!!

Our bodies, minds, and souls collide....from ecstacy we cannot hide!! Who would want to? Erotic pleasures can bring such magic to our lives. When you see the perfectly toned muscles of a body builder, or the soft curves of a Boticelli woman, how can you help but breath a *sigh* at such a sight. Our erotic nature fuels our sense, brings us pleasure, allows us to endure pains, and, in some cases, can take niblets of pain and turn them into pleasure. Humans are highly sensual if only we would allow ourselves to explore these avenue without guilt. Now, don't get me wrong, I am not endorsing the truly bizarre or bad, but, when we can experience pleasure either alone or, mutually, with another person, *sigh* that can be the greatest.

And, I think our erotic natures as humans are not limited to pure sexual activities. Take, for instance, lying on a cool sand beach with the warm sun giving your body a soft glow (and, I say 'soft' because ya gotta have the sun block on!). Don't you feel charged by the heat of it? Can't you just lie there and be drifted away by the rays enveloping you in a blanket of warmth? At that moment, your body is so alive and that feeling can be very erotic.

I also think our senses can be aroused not only by touch but by sight and sound and smell and taste. Look at the artwork here on this page. Isn't it lovely? And, for the record, I am not sayng there is anything wrong with pornography - it most definitely, in my opinion, has it's place in adult sexuality. All I am saying is that being erotic does not require being pornographic. And what of love poems and music which makes us swoon: words and song penetrating our senses and melting us. And then there is the smell of an expensive cologne splashed in just the right places on your lover's body - mmmm - that can set our pulses racing a bit faster, can't it? And, taste, well, taste is perhaps more personal but lying in bed with your special someone and dipping a juicy strawberry into fresh whipped cream and licking and nibbling on that strawberry followed by a sip of champagne - okay, that makes me quiver!! So, my point being, Erotic Nature can be sexual and sensual and heated and delicious, and, as adults, being uninhibited enough to fully enjoy those experiences only can enhance our existence.
